Yurt Schwitters

Yurt made in collaboration with Glen Roberts the dodger who crafted wooden structure, decorative tapestry stitched together with graphic designer Joseph Haigh. Yurt and yurt’s roof made in collaboration with collage artist Michael Holland. Yurt was made to honor Kurt Schwitters, German artist who lived for brief period of time in Ambelside, lake district, UK and created Merz barn wall there. It is inspired by dadaism, camping and walking culture of the Lake District. Yurt was part of an exhibition of work by Manchester School of Art alumni  2017.
